Lansing is the perfect town for you and your family to settle down if you enjoy small town living. It’s one of the smallest communities in Ashe County, with only a couple hundred residents and one stop sign. Yes, you read that correctly, it does not even have a stop light.  Big Horse Creek gently flows through the town and is known as one of five Mountain Heritage Trout Streams. Lansing is also known for the Ola Bella Reed Festival held annually, showcasing local and touring musicians in Country, Bluegrass, Folk and Celtic.
